He married Christina Charlotte von Schele (1746 &#8211; 1817). Fredrich Gotthold&#8217;s brother was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.struvefamily.org\/?page_id=9190\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"9190\">Ernst Friedrich Struve<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christina Charlotte&#8217;s mother was Hedwig Margarethe von Manteuffel verw. Ebers (ca. 1712 &#8211; ) who married <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.catsch.com\/schreiber\/fam00196.html\" target=\"_blank\">Christoph Ludolph von Schele<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The children of Friedrich Gotthold and Christina Charlotte were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Christina Dorothea Struve born on 24 Sep 1778. She married Joachim Hinrich Engel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Friederike Christi(a)ne Struve born on 26 Aug 1783 at Oldenburg \/ Wagrien<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carl Friedrich Gotthold Struve born on 14 Mar 1785. He married on 22 May 1815 Luise Friederike Frese Marne. Carl died on 6 Aug 1835 Gl\u00fcckstadt. (See the bottom of this page)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Christoph Johann Friedrich August Struve born on 8 Dec 1786 at Oldenburg \/ Wagrien<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.struvefamily.org\/?page_id=9958\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"9958\">Caspar Paul Friedrich Ernst Struve<\/a> born on 14 Mar 1791. He married on 24 Apr 1822 Wiebke Margarete Peters. He married Luise Friederike Frese (1794 &#8211; 1824) on 22 May 1815 and they had several children including one daughter, Wilhelmine Charlotte Struve (1 September 1817 &#8211; 1 January 1894), who on 17 July 1834 married Hinrich Sch\u00fctt. Hinrich was born on 25 June 1810 and died on 1 Apr 1873 (aged 62) and was buried at Alter Friedhoff in Burg, Dithmarschen, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany as was his wife Wilhelmine. Hinrich and Wilhelmine had twelve children. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carl Friedrich Gotthold Struve may have been the author of several books but we cannot be sure that <em>this<\/em> CFS is the same as &#8220;our&#8221; CFS. <em>Vom Scharlach Fieber \u2026 Vom Reich&#8217;schen Fiebermittel \u2026 <\/em>[About scarlet fever \u2026 About the Reich&#8217;s antipyretic \u2026 About the banishment of the Chinese bark in many diseases \u2026] 1802.
